The cleanliness is a matter of honor

A clean holiday home adds to the holiday comfort and we want to invest in the cleanliness of our apartment.

The first year of our holiday apartment has passed, and in May our apartment cleaned very well by a professional ("our Kaija"). All surfaces e.g. windows, cabinets and drawers also from inside, sauna, washroom, toilets and floors were treated properly and with ecological cleaners to excellent condition. The bedspreads got their first laundry treatment and earlier in the winter time I washed the curtains and blankets.

When we arrived to Äkäslompolo in July we continued to clean the textiles by washing all the mattress and pillow covers. In addition to this, we went through all the mattresses and beds first with a vacuum cleaner and then with a Kärcher textile washer. Alson carpet and sofa furniture got the same treatment. The smaller carpets cleaned in the washing machine and fortunately came back from there without major damage.

We also checked the condition of the kitchen equipment and we have added e.g. with a larger and better quality pot and pan, salad bowl, blender and other smaller kitchen equipments. A knife sharpener was also purchased when we noticed the knives to be too dull. Our goal is that everything necessary is available to our customers, and that equipments are in good condition and also safe to use.

The coffee machine is a thermos model so warm coffee will be for a longer time. We cleaned the coffee pot three times (first with lemon juice, then with vinegar and finally with baking soda), but the inside the pot does not seem to be completely bright. However, it is clean!

We use the balcony for blankets and pillows refreshing and after the half hour them will smell fresh. In the winter time we will have really fresh blankets and pillows.
