From our old sauna cabin, I found a little booklet, which was called to the Tunturikasvisto = Fell botany, which was left by a previous resident. I had just returned from Äkäslompolo when I found it and I started eagerly studying it. As I looked back the beautiful nature of Äkäslompolo, I decided to become more familiar about the Fell botany....
We rented Fatbikes for mountain biking and the first target was the Kotamaja, which is periodically open in summertime. The beginnig of the biking was a on easy road to Kesängin keidas. I was suprised, because I had imagined before that the wide tires could be much heavier to drive.
Cloudberries are very liked in our family and berries are super healthy and named to Superfood in Finland.
On skiing trip in Äkaslompolo I found tray made of recycled material from thre cafe Elämänluukku. This reminded me of a long-term wondering why recycling is not yet being increased more?
